Plain and simple, dental implants are absurdly expensive in the U.S.
So you’ve probably come to the realization that dental implants are outrageously expensive back home. The price tag is outraging, almost criminal, and you’re looking for alternatives. After all, you were probably quoted anywhere between $3,800-$4,200 a tooth! No wonder you’re exploring getting them done abroad. Good for you, you’re about to be rewarded for doing so.
You’ve seen with your own eyes, and heard from friends who have come back with perfect smiles at a fraction of the cost, that getting dental care done abroad is a viable solution. We don’t have to go into too much detail why dental work in the USA is so expensive (hint: financially, and purposely, inefficient healthcare system and corrupt insurance companies). Visiting Dental Tourism Colombia in beautiful Cartagena is seriously worth considering. You’ll have great satisfaction knowing you beat the system too! Good for you.
Titanium implant, post, and ceramic crown: $1,285 USD
Zirconia implant, post, and zirconia crown: $1,500 USD
Same cosmetic dentistry manufacturers, same quality of care, 70% off U.S. prices
The best news is that we use the same manufacturers as top American and European dentists, BioHorizons, Microdent, and Zimmer. These are high-quality materials used in premier dental care. These crowns won’t stain easily and will last a long time. With proper care, these implants can last you 15+ years. Feel secure that such a significant drop in price does not translate to a drop in quality.
So how does the dental implant procedure work?
Generally speaking, the dental implant procedure is done in two phases. The first phase is when any teeth are extracted, the implants/rods are placed in your jaw, and temporary crowns (if applicable) are placed. You’ll need to be in Cartagena for only 4 days (including weekend days) during this first trip.
A few months later, after your jaw bone has fused with the implant, you’ll come back to Dr. Gonzales and he’ll add your permanent crowns.
Implant procedure costs are split between the two trips.
